Choosing a floor color from thumbnails is how regret happens. Undertones shift with light, grain reads differently at room scale, and “light oak” describes half the internet. So here’s the guide we wish every product page had — all ten colors of our flagship Citadel 32MIL series, decoded by undertone, mood, and the design styles each one was born for.
One spec first, because it’s what makes the series worth decoding: every Citadel color is a 9″×48″ plank on an 8.0mm rigid core with a 32 mil wear layer and SuperION™ Ceramic Shield finish. Commercial-grade armor; residential looks. Now, the fun part.
The light blondes
Noa Oak — the Scandinavian default
The palest of the ten. Barely-there blonde, minimal grain contrast. Styles: Scandi-minimal, gallery-modern. Pair with: white walls, pale woods, black steel accents. Makes small rooms feel airborne.
Azaka Oak — coastal-morning Japandi
Sandy blonde with a soft warm cast, linear grain. Our most-photographed color. Styles: Japandi, coastal, organic modern. Pair with: boucle, linen, paper lanterns, greige walls.
Azuli Oak — the cool one
Ash blonde with a whisper of smoky blue-gray. Styles: contemporary, urban condo, anywhere with lots of glass and daylight. Pair with: cool whites, chrome, navy.
The warm middles
Nobi Oak — caramel highlights
Light oak lifted by soft caramel streaks. Styles: transitional, family-casual. Forgives crumbs and toys better than any blonde.
Satori Oak — honey heart
True honey mid-tone with natural variation. Styles: modern farmhouse, craftsman. Pair with: white shaker cabinets, brass, greenery. Dogs look great on it, and so does dog hair (that’s a feature).
Halen Oak — raw and honest
Natural raw-timber look, low sheen, unfussy. Styles: wabi-sabi, rustic modern, mountain house.
The refined neutrals
Calise Oak — the greige diplomat
Perfectly balanced warm-cool greige. When a client can’t decide, Calise is the answer — it agrees with every furniture era in the moving truck. Styles: transitional, staging, spec homes.
Savona Oak — quiet luxury
European neutral with a refined straight grain. Styles: Belgian minimal, five-star-suite calm. Pair with: plaster walls, travertine, cream everything.
The deep and dramatic
Talin Oak — weathered character
Mid greige-brown with weathered movement. Styles: industrial loft, heritage renovation. Hides real life better than any color in the line.
Hartwood Oak — the den maker
Deep grounded brown. Styles: traditional, moody modern, library-and-leather. Pair with: cognac leather, walls of books, our European Walnut wall panels for the full heritage-modern set.

FAQ
Do all ten Citadel colors share the same specs?
Yes — 9″×48″ planks, 8.0mm rigid SPC core, 32 mil SuperION™ Ceramic Shield wear layer, click-lock install, 100% waterproof. Only the look changes.
Which Citadel colors work best for small or dark rooms?
Noa Oak and Azuli Oak reflect the most light; Azaka Oak adds warmth without losing brightness.
Can I mix Citadel colors between rooms?
Yes, but transition at doorways with a T-molding. Adjacent open-plan spaces read best in a single color; save contrast for closed rooms.
