Responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent customer service, a core strategic mission of NextGen.
  • Process orders, respond to inquiries, and generate quotes via email, web, and phone.
  • Maintain the customer database (SalesForce.com CRM) and coordinate follow-up activities.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and shipping to meet customer requirements.
  • Work closely with the president and a global team in India and Philippines.
  • Support customers by phone from 8AM – 5:30PM EST.
  • Create and maintain a positive customer experience.
  • Assist in other areas as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience with SalesForce.com
  • Basic understanding of ERP systems and mobile apps.
  • Clear, confident, and effective communicator (phone and email).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Interest or experience in the surfacing industry (tile, countertop, lumber yard experience a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities.
  • Good time-management skills, able to balance priorities.
  • Capable of working with a diverse workforce and customer base.
  • Able to pass a background check.
